John Brian & Melissa’s Fabulous Wedding! July 27, 2010

This wedding was so much fun…from start to finish! (minus the steam room disguised as the outdoors :-)

They had their ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church. This was by far one of the most fabulous churches in the United States we have photographed at. They have a beautiful courtyard that is something you would have to see in person to understand just how amazing it is. Their are so many details in the church as well. I have to say this is best lit sanctuary I have ever been in. All the photographs were perfectly lit.

Their reception was at the Renaissance hotel in Carmel. The room was perfect! From all the details on the tables to how the cupcakes were displayed. Zanna-Doo was the band for the evening. I do have to say I think they were the best wedding band I have ever heard. Never was their a moment with an empty dance floor. They even let the little kids come up and sing with them. It was a party all night!

Say Cheese Photo Boothsprovided a photo booth for the evening. And Melissa had gotten fun props for the booth. I have to say it was maybe the best photo I have ever had taken of myself :)

Thank you so much John and Melissa for letting us do the photographs. We have had so much fun with you guys!

I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!

1 Year Later: Kail Joseph

This guy was all smiles before they even got him out of his car seat. He has the biggest smile and happiest personality.

However it was funny when I was taking the photographs he would maybe smile a little and look right at me and the second I pulled my camera away he just started smiling huge! Sometimes I swear the kids are playing us!

Nicole & Gerald he is so precious! I had a great time at your session and it just could not have been an easier session.

Thanks again for letting do your photographs!

Enjoy your preview

The Beautiful Madison & Morgan!

Filed under: Ima,family,generations,mass ave,modeling,siblings,teens,twins — Jennifer Cooney @ 1:21 pm

I have known Stacey, the twins’ mother, since 2002 or so. So I have known the girls since they were 6. They have been beautiful girls inside and out always. I am always impressed with their grace and maturity. Life hasn’t been easy for the two of them the last few months but they have handled themselves with such poise.

I am really proud of them. But I know that Stacey and their Grandmother have had much to do with how these girls have grown up. I was happy to get to spend some time with Gee I think she is one of the most fabulous grandmothers I have ever met. She owns a sailboat, she is funny, smart, articulate and has been a constant source of encouragement and wisdom for the girls. I have always admired their mother. She has been there for me even when we didn’t know each other well and continues to motivate me and be so positive no matter what is happening in her life.

We were focusing on the twins to get good shots for comp cards if they decide to pursue modeling. Which I happen to think they would be amazing at!

I love what we got!

Maddy and Moe I loved our evening spent together it was so much fun! Enjoy your preview!

Love you guys!

The Scott Family @ the IMA… July 25, 2010

Filed under: Ima,Uncategorized,children,family,generations,siblings — Jennifer Cooney @ 6:39 pm

I have gotten to know Michelle, Brad, & Towne over the past couple of years and more recently her brother Jeff, Tracy, and their children, Katy, Grant and Jack.

They were all together in Indianapolis so we did a big family session with the grandparents Pete & Suzy.

I think I thought it would feel “ok” at 11 am…but not on this day it was super hot and humid. And with having 10 people and 3 kids 2 and under I would say they did remarkable well!

I loved the outfits they put together I thought they all looked really nice. And given the how miserable it felt outside they were really wonderful too work with.

I loved some of the shots we got with the grandparents and grandkids. Those are photographs you will always treasure having. Also I am a big fan of Grant’s ‘Blue Steel’ model face and Towne’s Tadaaa!!

Thank you so much for continuing to think of us for your families photographs! I hope you enjoy the preview!

Happy Little Abby!

Yay she doesn’t totally hate her photographer…Well maybe still a little. But given the proper ammunition and a funny little side show we got her laughing hysterically and crying a bit hysterically if we took the above away…

But to me I love the emotions. She cracks me up. She has such a strong personality and she knows exactly what she wants. She also finds her parents hysterical which I love as well. They are funny people!

I did get her laughing if I pretended to run after and get her and take her photograph. However this proves tricky to get the photos in focus while chasing a 2 year. But I did my best :-)

I hope you guys enjoy the preview!

Holy Cupcakes! The Fabulous Flying Cupcakes!

Filed under: commercial, cupcakes, flying cupcake — Jennifer Cooney @ 4:58 pm

The Flying Cupcake is such a wonderful little spot just south of Broadripple. We take client there now and then to do some shots for the little one’s birthdays and other special occasions.

So, The Flying Cupcake asked us to come and do some photos of their cupcakes, and of course, I couldn’t resist.  :-)

I only ate about a dozen :) And there are many more for me to try…

Here are some pics to get your taste buds going…

Anna & Jack playing at the IMA!

Nicole, Anna, Jack and Grandmother Silva came out to the IMA for a family session. It was a typical hot Indiana day but the kids were in great spirits. They ran, laughed and played by the fountains.

They both have such sweet personalities!

Thanks Nicole for letting me do your photographs!

Enjoy the preview!
