Baby Ava out in the Country! May 31, 2010

Juhanya, Ryan, and Ava had me come and do their families photographs out in Bargersville. Ava’s grandparents were kind to let us use their beautiful property out there.

The day was hot and I think we quickly wore little Ava out as she fell asleep during a session which is unusual I would say :-)

She was such a sweet baby for the session. She didn’t cry at all. But she was quite intrigued by the sound my camera was making so she was very aware of me the whole time I was there.

Ryan & Juhanya you have an absolutely perfect little girl! Thanks for letting me come and do your photographs! I hope you enjoy the sneak preview!

Gary & Mary Jeanne’s Beautiful Family at the IMA

Jill & Dave are friends of Tommy’s from college. We had the opportunity to do their family’s photographs last year.

This year Jill & her sister, Laura bought their mom a gift certificate for a family session which we got to do this past Saturday!

We also got to meet Jill & Dave’s newest addition, Addy! She is so pretty and their son Cooper is as adorable as ever. He was so cooperative and fabulous for the session. Every question I asked he responded with, “yea sure” in that cute toddler voice.

It was nice and hot during our session but they were fabulous for it and I think it worked out great…we got lots of beautiful photographs!

Thank you Gary, Mary Jeanne, Jill, Dave, Laura, Jonathon and, of course, Cooper & Addy for our wonderful session the other day! We appreciate you letting us capture those moments between you all!

Enjoy the preview!

I met David when I was in College. He and I, as well as another friend of ours were all roommates back in the day. Those were some of the best times!

David worked for a long time as a Television producer and over the last few years has redirected his life into a healthy, balanced place. He is a Fitness Trainer and a Life Coach. He is getting his Masters and being an inspiration to so many people.

If anyone would like to be trained by David, you can checkout his website: http://www.fitnesslongevity.net or check him out on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=97800655#!/group.php?gid=119605895768&v=wall&ref=search

It is really cool to see someone go after what they love and succeed in such an amazing way.

David has a big Birthday coming up and he wanted to get some updated photographs.

We went all over Chicago getting these images!

Thanks David for letting us do them!

Kyle & Leah’s Beautiful Wedding in Greenfield! May 26, 2010

Filed under: couples, greenfield, greenfield arts and events center, wedding — Jennifer Cooney @ 2:51 pm

Last year we went up to Ball State and photographed these two for their engagement session! It was a lot of fun. I knew it wouldn’t be work to photograph them the day of their wedding. They are so much fun.

Their families all grew up around Greenfield and Leah & Kyle have known each other since high school as well. When I asked Leah if she was nervous she said, “No I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I knew years ago he was the one I wanted to marry.” I know that everyone knew this was right. Both families were so happy for them.

We did some fun shots of Kyle & Leah and the bridal party around downtown Greenfield.Including a reprise of our ‘infamous’ glasses shot. Hahaha.

I know you too are having the time of your life in Ireland right now! Enjoy it and have a pint for us! (Well…maybe more than a pint for Tommy :-)

Enjoy the preview! The rest will be up in a couple of weeks.

Our ‘Pay It Forward’ 2009 winner: Tollsyn & Family

Last year, about this same time of year, we had a ‘Pay it Forward’ Contest. We invited anyone to submit a story of someone they know or know about that has been going through rough times and could use a free photo session and package. We ended up selecting two families as winners. One of the families we selected hasn’t been able to set up a time for a session due to their little one breaking his bones so often. And the mom had hoped to get some shots while his casts were off.

Tollsyn, the baby boy, is 16 months old now and the only time he had any photographs done was when he was 3 months old. They were done in a studio and the session didn’t go well. I’m sure that is a tough thing to go through.

To see Danylle & Jeremy’s family love for all of their children…and their patience could be a reminder to us all about what is important in life.

They have 4 children, Collyn, Ryllan, Brynn and Tollsyn. Tollsyn is the youngest and has Osteogenises Imperfecta which is a type of brittle bone disease. His bones are so fragile he can’t lay on his belly…he would break his ribs. The kids obviously have to be very gentle with him and Tollsyn has to be easy on himself as he has broken his own bones before.

Needless to say they have their hands full. But they don’t act any differently than any other regular family and have a go with the flow attitude about it all and such a positive outlook.

I wish you guys all the best! I hope I was able to get some photographs that captured Tollsyn and his ‘bigger than life’ personality!

Enjoy the preview we will have the rest up soon!

What a Beautiful Couple: Brandon & Ashley! May 21, 2010

These two have been married for a while now as they got married before Brandon headed to Iraq. But they haven’t celebrated with all of those closest to them. So next month they are getting married at an all inclusive resort in Cancun.

We had a 2 hour session together and went to the canal and the to the IMA.

It would be impossible not to get great photographs of them as they have this great chemistry and love for one another. They were doing sweet poses constantly…and not by my direction.

I had a lot of fun with them!

I hope you guys have a wonderful, happy life together!

Enjoy your preview!

Wilson & his “Baby Blues” May 20, 2010

This little boy has the sweetest face with the biggest blue eyes.

He was precious for the session. When I came into the house he was sitting on the living room floor in his diaper and didn’t move. He looked like I posed him there so I took advantage of him being still and great and took some shots. I love how they turned out.

When we took some pics outside I think he was really into the mulch, dirt, grass, and anything other then me really…but that really more exciting then this strange lady with a camera in your face :-)

Thank you Anne for letting me come do your photographs! Your little boy is so adorable!
