Theresa & Justin April 30, 2010

I really appreciate good, natural smiles…I think because it is so hard to pull one out of me…but Theresa has this infectious smile that is beautiful and really made the photographs amazing. She was really cute with Justin without me even posing her in a cute fabulous way : -) That was just her natural way with him.

Justin and Theresa I am going to have fun with you on your wedding! You guys are a blast and just so easy to work with. I hope you enjoy your preview!

Smiley Adam @ 8 Months

We met Lori & Adam out at the IMA today for his 8 month old session.

This little guy is as adorable as ever! With his big cheeks and to die for eyelashes. He has this huge sweet smile as well. The session started off rocky because we put him the grass and he was quite unsure of the texture of the grass. But we got him used to us & the grass and we were good to go.

I love some of the pics of him in the green jumper outfit because I think those colors look good on him and I liked him on the bridge.

Lori you are a good Mamma! And that little guy loves you. Thanks for letting us do your photographs! See you in a few months :)

Brooklyn & Her Cupcake

I love seeing this little girl she is just so cute! You guys might get sick of me saying that but just come on…look at her hair! It has grown so much since our last session together.

She had the cutest outfit on too! I loved it.

We went to the Flying Cupcake and sat outside for quite a few pics and then we walked around the area there doing some other photographs. It was really sweet…a lady from a local store came out and gave Brooklyn a little ring that matched her outfit. She was all about that ring!

Brooklyn was really talkative this session….not exactly distinguishable words but jabbering away anyhow. She was interested in the ducks and geese especially. Being rather fearless I think she would of gone in the water if allowed.

Thank Alexander Family for a wonderful session!

Little Redhead Logan April 29, 2010

Tommy’s friends Josh & Beth had their first baby 2 weeks ago yesterday!

I have known Josh, formerly known as Ratts :-) , since the first few weeks Tommy and I started dating. I liked Josh ever since I met him….soon thereafter I got to meet Beth…he brought her to a surprise birthday party for Tommy and I was super impressed they drove from so far away to come for just a bit.

These guys are wonderful people inside and out!

We had the pleasure to photograph their fun wedding in Lafayette and we had a blast at their wedding and still get compliments on many of their pics. I was happy it worked out we could go to Peoria to photograph their newest addition.

Logan was wonderful for the session! I think he preferred being in all my crazy props…his parents knew all the tricks to calm him down when needed…special baby boom box (as Tommy will refer to it as) and a flashy reflector and he was good to go…

I hope you guys enjoy your preview!

Thanks again for having us take them. It was so great seeing you guys again!

Zach & Audra in the Country… April 28, 2010

When I met these two at the bridal show they told me they like vintage style fashion and were looking for something different. I knew I’d like them right from the start.  :-)

I met them up in West Lafayette yesterday afternoon and we went out to Audra’s parents and grandparents property to do their engagement photographs. This is also where their reception is going to be. This has me so excited for their wedding. It will be a magical event….the property is so beautiful.

We found random things at her grandparents house that made for some fun photographs…such as the fabulous vintage bike and the old truck. There is even a cemetery on the property of the first people that settled there. It is a really cool looking cemetery. I was thinking it would be cool to do a few photographs in there but I did not want to seem too morbid…so it was funny when Audra said they thought it would be cool to do a couple of pics in there but she did not want to seem morbid :)

This session was so much fun and got me out of the usual things that I do…

I hope you guys enjoy this sneak peak!

Kerry & Lisa: Wedding Day Fun in the Rain! April 25, 2010

Filed under: Laurel Hall, rain, wedding — Jennifer Cooney @ 4:10 pm

These two are amazing individuals! I hope to get to see them more in the future…They have such kind souls and really love life. And…all of their family & friends were really fun and wonderful people too. Talk about a good day!

The ceremony was very touching it had me and my assistant Erin in tears. I could see the adoration in Kerry’s eyes when Lisa was walking down the isle and I could see the excitement in Lisa’s face. She couldn’t stop smiling!

The reception was set up in different rooms. They had tables and chairs set up but people could mingle and sit wherever they wanted. They had food stations set up in many different rooms. I thought it was cool…there was a carving and pasta station in the library and then other stations set up in the other rooms…including foods like mini-burgers, mini-dogs, and mini grilled cheese. Yummy!  They had cookies and milk set up on one table and a cupcake wedding cake to top it off. The food was wonderful! I would highly recommend Jacqui’s catering!

Lisa is a beautiful person inside and out…but yesterday she was just stunning in a dress unlike one I had ever seen before. But I loved it! I loved her hair and make up and am obsessed with now finding an amazing hair piece like her feathery flower to wear in my hair :-)

Tommy photographed the guys and I did not know what photographs they did until I got into them today to edit some for the blog…it appears they had a really good time :-) I enjoyed sifting through the images of them in the library “studying” sans pants.

Kerry & Lisa I know you are probably in Costa Rica right now! I hope you enjoy every second of it.

Thanks for letting us photograph and DJ your wedding! We had a wonderful time.

Mallory & Spencer at the IMA April 24, 2010

I use to see Mallory and Spencer’s Nana when I worked at the hospitals. So I was so excited when her daughter contacted me about photographs…I hoped their nana would come with them and she did.

Yesterday I did not have one of the best days…but these guys were a blessing and perfectly wonderful! It really turned my day around hanging out with them for an hour.

Mallory is a curious, smart little 2 year. She is just a tiny peanut very much reminding me of Maya in that respect. Then we have Spencer which is just a little chunk and he is adorable with his red hair and sweet disposition. I always find it fun to see the dynamics between siblings and this was no exception.

Thank you guys so much for letting me do your families photographs! I hope to get to see you again.

Enjoy your preview of your beautiful family!
