Little Guy Alex February 24, 2010

We did Alex Christopher’s newborn photographs yesterday. He is tiny weighing just over 6lbs. He has red hair and long arms and legs.

Typically when we photograph babies naked, it is best if they are asleep, otherwise they are more apt to get fussy about being naked. But Alex was surprisingly awake for much of it and really good once we snuggled him in a little blue cocoon. The photo session was a breeze with this little baby!

Thank you for having us out to do your newborns photographs! We had a good time with you guys!

She and Andrew have been together since they were 15 years old and now are having their first baby!

Brittany is beautiful and just has this perfect belly! We got to capture some really pretty photographs of her and Andrew.

I hope you guys enjoy them! It was great meeting you and the next time we see you it will be with a new baby!

3 Month old Patrick

We went to photograph some friends of Tommy’s from college the other day. Matt & Jenny have a beautiful three moth old baby boy, Patrick.

Patrick was super calm and attentive for our photo session.

I was excited because I had a friend make a cocoon and matching hat to have back for this session. This fit him perfectly and he looked adorable in it.

You guys have a beautiful family and  your baby boy is just perfect.

Thank you for having us out to do your photographs!

Anthony & Katie’s Beautiful Wedding February 22, 2010

When we did their engagement photographs, they really did anything that we suggested. They are so easy going and a lot of fun to be around. I can’t even imagine anyone not liking these two.

They had their wedding yesterday at the State House. I have only photographed one other wedding there, but loved it because the lighting is so beautiful and it has such awesome architecture.

They decided to see one another before the wedding. We had Katie waiting at the bottom of the stairs and Anthony came down behind her. He gave her some beautiful jewelry and and letter. It was a beautiful moment. Afterward we had plenty of time to do some really nice shots of the wedding party.

Anthony & Katie I hope you are really enjoying your honeymoon! I think you two are so wonderful together. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and adventure together!

One of my best friends, Angela & Ladale’s Wedding on a Boat… February 19, 2010

Filed under: Valentines Day,destination, wedding — Jennifer Cooney @ 12:01 pm

I have known Angela since we were in ‘Brownies’ together.  And our friendship became even stronger in middle & high school. When she told me she was getting married, I was so happy for her. She has always been a true friend to me and that relationship has always been strong. I was so happy she found a man that compliments her so well and I know they will have a long happy life together.

They decided to do a destination wedding on  ‘Celebrity’ cruise lines. They got married on Valentines Day. Tommy was not able to go with me and I had the honor to be a bridesmaid, so the only shots I got were before and after the ceremony. And I was competing with the on board photographer to get my shot :-) It was a whole lot of fun to be on the other side of the camera being a part of it all though…that doesn’t happen too often..

The whole trip was a blast! I am so happy I got to be a part of it all. The wedding was beautiful, a lot of fun and they had such a nice group of friends! I really had fun with everyone there.

Enjoy the sneak peak! More to come soon….

I love you guys!

Stacy & Jeff…Playing in the Snow! February 9, 2010

We had an engagement session scheduled for the day before the Superbowl. And of course just the day before we got the most snow we have gotten in quite a while.

But these two were troopers and said “as long as the roads were ok, lets go ahead and keep the scheduled time.” We went to Craig park in Greenwood to start the session then off to do some near downtown Greenwood.

They both met each other at a Sports facility on the west side so it was only fitting that they had their softball mitts, and a ball with them for the session. I am super excited to photograph their wedding on a softball diamond. That is going to be awesome!

Thank you guys for being so great to work with! I loved how this session turned out I hope you enjoy your preview!

Olivia decided to come early… February 3, 2010

So we were at Jessica & Micheal’s house 10 days ago doing maternity photographs. Thank goodness we went when we did since 4 days later Jessica gave birth to Miss Olivia.

She was due Feb 13th and it looked like everything was going as planned. But after Michael headed to work last wednesday, Jessica went into labor. The whole day went pretty smoothly and their daughter is absolutely perfect.

Olivia was wonderful for our session. Just as content and wonderful of a little baby girl as we could ask for! Her complexion and all of her tiny little features are just so perfect.

She was only 6lbs 4 oz so she was pretty small for any newborn clothes…but that is not an issue as we love the naked baby pics.

Jessica & Michael…Congratulations! You guys seem like old pros and were so wonderful with her!
