The Smiley Adam December 16, 2009

We have photographed little Adam’s cousin’s, Caroline and Austin, a couple of times…now had the opportunity to meet Lori and her son Adam.

I think Adam’s big eyes and cheeks remind me a lot his cousin Caroline. This little guy was the happiest little baby. He was smiling a lot and making a lot of cooing sounds. Lori had the most adorable outfits for him.

Lori you were so nice and easy to work with. Thank you so much for having us come do your photographs!

I hope you enjoy your preview!

Navy Man Corey & His Beautiful Bea @ the Airport

I met Bea several months ago and we were able to talk and got along really well. She has a really warm personality and is so easy to talk to.

She wanted something unique for her engagement photographs so I was excited when they thought of the airport. Her fiancee is in the Navy, so he is gone all the time and is just back here for a little vacation from Japan. But the airport has been an important spot for the two of them and so it was only fitting we did their photographs there.

Corey just recently got back here from Japan and I was glad the timing worked out perfect for this session before Christmas.

You two are really fun to watch. You are so in love and I think you stopped a lot of people in their tracks just watching us do your photographs because you were so happy and it was contagious to anyone watching you!

I hope you enjoy the sneak preview! We had a lot of fun doing your photographs!

My Friends Kendra, Kerrigan & Kassidy December 12, 2009

I have known Kendra for about 6 years, I believe. We met when Maya was a baby and I was working at a children’s boutique, Starbucks & doing photography :-) She would come into the boutique picking out the cutest outfits for her little girls.

When it came a point that I needed to find a part time daycare for Maya, she offered to watch her in her home until her daycare was up and running. She treated my daughter like her own. I never questioned the care there…it was great…and Maya always had so much fun too. She and Kassidy were the same exact size and great little buddies. Maya loved Kassidy and Kerrigan and would talk about them and their mom and especially their grandma, which Maya called Nana, all the time.

So when Kendra called and said she needed some pics last minute for Christmas I was really excited to see them again and do their photographs. The girls have changed so much. Seeing Kassidy was seeing how big Maya would be now and it was bittersweet. But it brought back a flood of memories of Maya.

Kendra you and your girls are beautiful. You will always hold the most special of spots in my heart. Everything you did for me and my family will never be forgotten. And thank you for loving my little girl so much.

I hope you enjoy your preview I really loved how this turned out even though I know you guys were chilly :-)

Chelsea & Blake at the Murat… December 10, 2009

I am happy to say that I think I will know Chelsea & Blake for years to come. Not only were they wonderful to work with, but they are great people to be around.

I could not imagine a couple more perfect for one another. When you are around them you feel welcome and like you have known them for forever.

They both have a great passion for writing so it was only fitting they wrote their own vows. During their ceremony I found myself so moved by their words and emotions I wanted to just sit there and watch them. The whole day was beautiful and fun.

Chelsea and Blake I hope you are having an amazing honeymoon!

Thank you so much for making us a big part of your wonderful day!

Can’t wait to see you when you get back!

Playing in Chicago with Katy, Grant & Jack… December 4, 2009

We were so excited to get a call from one of our client’s sister-in-law who lives in Chicago and wanted a session with her family after her newest baby, Jack, was born.

We love Chicago and any chance to get up there. So of course we agreed. :-)

So we went to Jeff & Tracy’s house on Tuesday. They have a beautiful home with hard wood floors and lots of available natural light. This was a really great home to do photo’s in.

Katy was an easy subject she had lots of cute expressions and it was easy to get her to smile. Grant her little brother is adorable. He is totally energetic and was moving around quite a bit…perhaps he was taking this modeling thing serious. As they are always asking the top models to keep moving and giving new poses. When this is the case I just follow them and I got some really cute photographs of him when he was not really even posing.

Jack the newest little one was perfect. He just hung out and let his siblings hold him, he let us lay him naked on a leather ottoman and he was good through it all.

Jeff & Tracy thank you so much for letting us in your home to do your family photographs! We hope you enjoy them.
