Caryn is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I liked her from the first time we met. I must admit her husband John intimidated me a little the first time I met him…he had a lot of questions for me…which usually the groom’s are less involved in planning…so it definitely caught me by surprise. It’s actually pretty funny to me now because I think he is so fun, considerate, and a good friend to all of his family and friends. They both are. If you did not know from the amount of friends they had standing up with them at the wedding you knew from all the things their family and friends had to say about them.
Caryn’s father performed their ceremony and Tommy and I agreed it was one of the most touching and well done ceremony’s we have witnessed. It was really beautiful…I’ll be honest…he had me in tears. So I can’t imagine if I was a close friend of family!
Everyone that was with you on your wedding day was so wonderful to us. Your bridal party really let us do our thing and have fun with the photographs!
Their reception was at the State Museum which is a really beautiful venue for a reception. It was our first time photographing a reception there but I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a downtown location.
Thank you so much for choosing us for your photography!
Have fun in St. John! We look forward to hanging out when you get back : )

I just wanted to chime in and say that I had a blast as well. I certainly felt like I was a part of the bridal party group…that’s for sure. You guys are so much fun and so easy to work with. And you guys all let us do fun poses and a lot of stuff that a lot of people wouldn’t want to do.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this one final thing however. Jennifer and I like to pride ourselves in our ability to ‘document’ the day. We are always snapping pictures left and right…looking for those special moments that you wouldn’t normally think of. So you an imagine, at the end of the day we end up with a lot of photos.
Well our style appeared to work again this weekend…I think we might have even come up with a new slogan:
“Baby Grace Photography, we capture every little moment…”
As you will see in the first few photos below, I was walking backwards taking some shots of the whole bridal party walking along this bridge. One of those ‘classic’ type shots, where everyone is supposed to be natural and just walking…not posed. When you are doing something like this, you tend to snap a lot of photos, because you never know which ‘frame’ will be the keeper…well i think we found our keeper…
(BTW, she was such a good sport about it and so great…and she wasn’t too badly injured…just a few flesh wounds…I actually ran to CVS right after it happened to get her some stuff to get bandaged up. She handled it all in stride. And she wasn’t being clumsy either…there was actually a grass covered pot hole in the road that she unwittingly stepped in.)
