Matt & Krista’s Beautiful Wedding! July 14, 2010

We had a great time on Saturday at Krista & Matt’s wedding and reception. They both have wonderful friends and family. The whole day went so smooth. No stress and just really a lot of fun.

They got married at their church in Fishers. So since Krista lives right around the corner from the church she and the bridesmaids got ready in her house. Then we went over to the local park to get some shots there. A few little league players were wondering what was going on with all these ladies all dressed up at the park :-)

After we got some fun shots there, we went to the church. The ceremony was beautiful. One of her friends sang and Krista’s brother wrote a song for the ceremony.

After the ceremony we went to Broad Ripple. Celebrated with a drink and then headed to Butler where the two met, and did some bridal photographs.

Their reception was at Fountain Square Theater. The room looked fabulous for the reception! Krista I loved how your cake turned out!

Thank you so much for having us do your photography! We had a great time.

Hope you are enjoying Hawaii!

Izabella playing in the flowers & the mud… May 11, 2010

We met on Saturday when the strong winds threatened us…but couldn’t keep us away! Actually in our little bubble it wasn’t really windy at all. Iz was a trooper for our session. I stuck her in the woods and she fell and rolled over I think most little kids would have been done by then but she got up and brushed it off.

She saw the ducks and was quite determined to get in the water with them. I am actually quite sure if Alison did not have her hand she would of gone on in. Kids are so fearless like that. They have no idea of the dangers of things and are so open to just going for it. I love that about that age but it is also a little nerve racking for the parents I am sure.

Towards the end of the shoot we got just a couple of pics of her in a bathing suit/tutu and I saw a couple of muddy puddles. I told Alison that I could have seen myself having Maya jump in the puddles for a fun pic but I would never expect them to get their child all muddy and deal with that mess. She was totally game for it. So we stuck Iz by the puddle.  She was cautious at first. Sticking just her toes in, then splashing with her hands. It was really fun! I am glad we got some shots of that.

Alison I was glad to have you guys as my session on Mother’s Day weekend…Iz was just a sweetheart to me and she really made me smile!

Enjoy your preview!

Krista & Matt’s Engagement Session… October 14, 2009

We met Krista & Matt to do their engagement photographs and some fun photographs for a movie poster for the reception.

They met at Butler so we did some fun shots there as well as the IMA. They had guns (BB guns I believe :) ) For our photograph we needed for the movie poster. And they had the idea that campus police might not like that too much. So we drove over to the IMA did those shots and a few other spots I like there and then headed back to Butler.

She was a trooper in her cute black dress on this chilly but beautiful day! I look forward to showing you guys the pics I think you will love them!

Enjoy your preview!
