Sadaf contacted me awhile ago to set up an outdoor session for her family. Finally the timing was right and the weather was great so we met Saturday morning at the IMA for a session.

It was kind of strange being at the IMA on a Saturday, because we are most often this time of year at weddings all day long. It was swarming with folks out enjoying the sunshine and having their own sessions. It was great though!

The kids were unsure of me at first but warmed up to me and the idea of having their photograph taken. Maaz was probably the most reluctant at first but the quickest to warm up. Ismail was just interested in what was going on around him and was wonderful for the session.

I ended up getting such sweet shots of the boys and the whole family!

You wouldn’t know this guy was 3 weeks old already. He weighed less then 6lbs when he was born and now he is just the same size as many of the new babies I photograph.

He was wonderful for the photographs and especially alert. His big brother Caleb was unsure about having to touch him for any photographs but was “ok” with him being nearby

Both boys have really amazing murals painted on all four walls. And their dad and grandfather have handmade about all of the furniture in the house including the beautiful crib, and dresser. I have honestly never seen a handmade crib that  beautiful before.

I went to Tony & Lisa’s house the other night to photograph their precious new baby. I have photographed their family a couple of times now and it is really cool to see Austin really open up to me and he was really adorable last night for our session.

He wanted to know what photograph was next and how he should pose and ofcourse see the image right after to confirm I was doing ok. I think he was also a little concerned about how long I was staying

Nickolas let us get a bunch of different photographs! I really love some of the ones with his big brother and outside.

I have had it start raining before on a photo session…but only a couple of times…and it was real light or went away quickly. Never have I had hard rain, and a tornado warming during a session…until yesterday!  It made things exciting

Jayden, Cole, and Daniel are brothers I photographed out at the IMA yesterday. As soon as we got there we could hear the thunder. We still got amazing shots and a lot of photographs despite the weather. Aaryn, their mother was really cool with letting them run around in the rain barefoot which was a lot of fun!

It was nice meeting you guys and you were wonderful for the session!

Amanda called me to come out and do a big family portrait for her. She and her mom and 3 sisters came out with their kids and significant others to have their photo’s done at the IMA.

It was a little bit of a wild session as you will have when you have a few little ones all together. But all in all I think I got some really fun, cute photographs.

My good friend from college, Julie, came into town last week for a banquet. So she and her mom and kiddos stopped in a couple of days early to visit. While they were here I took her to my favorite place for photographs and we did some of her kids.

Her little boys are so special to me and they were full of energy for their session.

They call me, Aunt Jenn Cooney which cracks me up.

Carrie’s family came down from South Bend for her session yesterday. Her sister, Jamie, is a regular client of ours. Her boys are Aiden and Logan and they are too cute! They wore Colts jerseys and so did their cousin, Gavin (Jamie’s son), for a big group shot.

Gavin was not too into the photo session, he kept asking to go home in his dads little car, or to go see the scary chicken (a dog toy I later found out) but either way…it broke your heart…his sincerity for not wanting to be there and just asking to go home with his big tears.

But despite it all, I think we got some sweet shots of everyone!

Carrie I am glad to finally meet your family. I’ve heard such wonderful things about you guys!
