Joan & Jon – Beautiful Wedding #1 August 11, 2009
Joan came to the States in a foreign exchange program back in 2000. She came from the bustling city of Hong Kong to a small town called, Churubusco, IN.
After college she attended Tri-State University. Then she got a job as an engineer, settign thr stage for her to meet the love of her life.
The story is like something out of a book or movie and you would of felt even more moved by them if you were at their wedding. The way Jon looked at her when she was on stage. The way he wiped her tears and squeezed her hands confirmed how right this was to everyone watching. I was so touched by the ceremony and the love and support all of their family memebers give them.
They got married at the Columbia Club, downtown the circle. We did photographs there and at the War Memorial, the library, and the IMA.
Joan had a funny idea to take balloons and tie them to a rubberband and then put the rubberband around your ankle. Then run around and have people try to pop your balloon on your ankle. It was funny and made for some great photographs!
In November they are going to have wedding #2 in Hong Kong!
Thank you Joan & Jon for having us be such a special part of your wedding day!
