I have photographed Jeff & Tracy’s family a couple times now and was excited when they wanted do a big family session with Tracy’s side of the family. We met at the Lincoln Park Zoo and did pics in the zoo and right outside of the zoo. We started at 8:30 so it wasn’t so hot yet and not too crowded either…it was just perfect!

Her parents, Charles & Carolyn, and sister, Carrie, were all in from California. And her other sister Kristen lives in Chicago as well.

Such a sweet, beautiful family inside and out. You can tell the kids really love their aunts and they were awesome in getting the kiddos to laugh for the pics.

I met David when I was in College. He and I, as well as another friend of ours were all roommates back in the day. Those were some of the best times!

David worked for a long time as a Television producer and over the last few years has redirected his life into a healthy, balanced place. He is a Fitness Trainer and a Life Coach. He is getting his Masters and being an inspiration to so many people.

We were so excited to get a call from one of our client’s sister-in-law who lives in Chicago and wanted a session with her family after her newest baby, Jack, was born.

We love Chicago and any chance to get up there. So of course we agreed.

So we went to Jeff & Tracy’s house on Tuesday. They have a beautiful home with hard wood floors and lots of available natural light. This was a really great home to do photo’s in.

Katy was an easy subject she had lots of cute expressions and it was easy to get her to smile. Grant her little brother is adorable. He is totally energetic and was moving around quite a bit…perhaps he was taking this modeling thing serious. As they are always asking the top models to keep moving and giving new poses. When this is the case I just follow them and I got some really cute photographs of him when he was not really even posing.

Jack the newest little one was perfect. He just hung out and let his siblings hold him, he let us lay him naked on a leather ottoman and he was good through it all.

Kaycee emailed saying she wanted to do 1 year photographs of Ethan. She was thinking something that would be around Railroad tracks. I could not think of a spot near downtown with tracks and thought maybe Fountain Square could be cool. We had only done photographs there once before but loved how they came out. So they met us at the Shelby Street diner and we did some photographs around there. And then we walked around Fountain Square.

Later, we drove to a ‘not so nice’ of town and parked near some tracks and got some amazing photographs.

Thanks guys for being open to something that might not look good from first glance. I loved getting to do something new and try this out. And I loved the results. I hope you guy enjoy the preview!

I have know David since 1997. He lived in the other half of a double I lived in for a short time during college. We hit it off instantly. We ended up becoming roommates and had some of the best times of my life

None of those amazing times included working out…so to see how David has transformed his lifestyle was really inspiring.

We went around Chicago doing photographs for his website and it was an awesome time! His friend Christy was kind enough to let us use her amazing apartment for a few of the photographs. She has an amazing view of the city!
