Ginny, Jason, Paige, & Baby D…Downtown! August 5, 2010

Filed under: canal, children, downtown, family, siblings, war memorial — Jennifer Cooney @ 6:51 am

You guys have seen this lovely family before! I love getting to photograph them. I love seeing these two adorable kids grow up. Paige is always really mindful of what is going on. She is always watching me and smiling and paying attention…perhaps we have a budding artist on our hands.

Dylan is super talkative now and a funny kid. He was really happy and a lot of fun on Sunday.

Ginny & Jason you guys have a beautiful family. And most of all you have really good kids! They are respectful and polite and fun to be around! That is a testament to the kind of parents you are!

I would have to say this is my personal favorite session of ours we have done with you guys! I hope you enjoy the preview it was hard to narrow down the pics for the blog!

Enjoy!

The Scott Family @ the IMA… July 25, 2010

Filed under: Ima,Uncategorized,children,family,generations,siblings — Jennifer Cooney @ 6:39 pm

I have gotten to know Michelle, Brad, & Towne over the past couple of years and more recently her brother Jeff, Tracy, and their children, Katy, Grant and Jack.

They were all together in Indianapolis so we did a big family session with the grandparents Pete & Suzy.

I think I thought it would feel “ok” at 11 am…but not on this day it was super hot and humid. And with having 10 people and 3 kids 2 and under I would say they did remarkable well!

I loved the outfits they put together I thought they all looked really nice. And given the how miserable it felt outside they were really wonderful too work with.

I loved some of the shots we got with the grandparents and grandkids. Those are photographs you will always treasure having. Also I am a big fan of Grant’s ‘Blue Steel’ model face and Towne’s Tadaaa!!

Thank you so much for continuing to think of us for your families photographs! I hope you enjoy the preview!

Anna & Jack playing at the IMA!

Nicole, Anna, Jack and Grandmother Silva came out to the IMA for a family session. It was a typical hot Indiana day but the kids were in great spirits. They ran, laughed and played by the fountains.

They both have such sweet personalities!

Thanks Nicole for letting me do your photographs!

Enjoy the preview!

Gary & Mary Jeanne’s Beautiful Family at the IMA May 31, 2010

Jill & Dave are friends of Tommy’s from college. We had the opportunity to do their family’s photographs last year.

This year Jill & her sister, Laura bought their mom a gift certificate for a family session which we got to do this past Saturday!

We also got to meet Jill & Dave’s newest addition, Addy! She is so pretty and their son Cooper is as adorable as ever. He was so cooperative and fabulous for the session. Every question I asked he responded with, “yea sure” in that cute toddler voice.

It was nice and hot during our session but they were fabulous for it and I think it worked out great…we got lots of beautiful photographs!

Thank you Gary, Mary Jeanne, Jill, Dave, Laura, Jonathon and, of course, Cooper & Addy for our wonderful session the other day! We appreciate you letting us capture those moments between you all!

Enjoy the preview!

Wilson & his “Baby Blues” May 20, 2010

This little boy has the sweetest face with the biggest blue eyes.

He was precious for the session. When I came into the house he was sitting on the living room floor in his diaper and didn’t move. He looked like I posed him there so I took advantage of him being still and great and took some shots. I love how they turned out.

When we took some pics outside I think he was really into the mulch, dirt, grass, and anything other then me really…but that really more exciting then this strange lady with a camera in your face :-)

Thank you Anne for letting me come do your photographs! Your little boy is so adorable!

Izabella playing in the flowers & the mud… May 11, 2010

We met on Saturday when the strong winds threatened us…but couldn’t keep us away! Actually in our little bubble it wasn’t really windy at all. Iz was a trooper for our session. I stuck her in the woods and she fell and rolled over I think most little kids would have been done by then but she got up and brushed it off.

She saw the ducks and was quite determined to get in the water with them. I am actually quite sure if Alison did not have her hand she would of gone on in. Kids are so fearless like that. They have no idea of the dangers of things and are so open to just going for it. I love that about that age but it is also a little nerve racking for the parents I am sure.

Towards the end of the shoot we got just a couple of pics of her in a bathing suit/tutu and I saw a couple of muddy puddles. I told Alison that I could have seen myself having Maya jump in the puddles for a fun pic but I would never expect them to get their child all muddy and deal with that mess. She was totally game for it. So we stuck Iz by the puddle.  She was cautious at first. Sticking just her toes in, then splashing with her hands. It was really fun! I am glad we got some shots of that.

Alison I was glad to have you guys as my session on Mother’s Day weekend…Iz was just a sweetheart to me and she really made me smile!

Enjoy your preview!

Maximilian & Reese @ the IMA May 1, 2010

The photographs I did last year at this time of Max just weeks after he was born and his family are still to this date some of my favorite photographs. I loved the photo’s of Reese holding her baby brother.
And they just are so adorable so that doesn’t hurt. And their parents have great style and dress them in super cool clothes…check out Max’s shirt and Reese’s jelly shoes! Love them!

For some reason it was hot tonite at the IMA in April…silly Indiana weather. But despite the fact I was sweating in April we got some really amazing sweat-free pics! :-)

Reese is totally into having her picture taken and Max is a typically one year old on the move and into keys! That was the magic trick to get him to look and smile…

Now after editing pics from the blog I don’t know I think this might be my new favorite session of them. It was a lot of fun!

Thanks Ross & Marianne for having me do the photographs again. It was nice to see you.
